George R. Kolettis, MD

Dr. Kolettis is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with specialized expertise in hip and knee joint replacement. His practice is dedicated to diagnosing and treating arthritis of the hip and knee, with a focus on helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Dr. Kolettis is highly skilled in advanced joint replacement techniques, including direct anterior hip replacement, kinematic alignment for total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, complex primary and revision surgeries, and outpatient joint replacement procedures.

Coming from a family of physicians and driven by a lifelong interest in science and the human body, Dr. Kolettis found a natural calling in medicine. He chose orthopedic surgery — and specifically hip and knee replacement — because of its transformative impact. The ability to restore function and relieve pain in patients with debilitating joint conditions is what continues to inspire his work.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Kolettis enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, traveling, and playing golf or pickleball. He’s also a passionate sports fan, especially when it comes to Notre Dame football — Go Irish!
