Health Information Specialist
We are seeking a detailed individual to perform processes specific to patient records. Duties include scanning & indexing incoming documents, processing release of information requests, providing customer service to callers & visitors, transferring completed dictations into the electronic health record, editing transcribed documents for accuracy and typing internal dictations. Experience with medical records and medical terminology preferred. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.
We have a leadership opportunity available for a Health Information professional to coordinate all medical records, scanning, indexing, release of information and transcription activities for the practice and supervise staff in these areas. Position will also deliver EHR training to staff and assist with collecting, tracking and reporting MIPS data. Prior leadership experience in a medical office or hospital setting along with a Bachelors degree in a related discipline desired. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide clinical care and outstanding customer service to office patients as part of our urgent care walk-in clinic (Orthostat) team. Part-time, typically 2 weekdays per week (clinic hours are 7a to 7p) plus a rotating Saturday (currently every 10th week). No call required. Position will assist in covering all Orthostat locations in Fort Wayne & Warsaw as needed.
We are seeking a part-time developer to assist with the design, development and support of NextGen based electronic health record (EHR) templates and related SQL code. Duties include the definition and development of EHR templates, documents and SQL programming solutions. Bachelor’s degree or certificate in computer science/related field required. Two years I/T experience in a healthcare setting desired. Prior background with EHR systems programming beneficial. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving talents. Will be provided with training to become certified in NextGen EHR within the first 12 months. Mon-Fri 8am-1pm

Duties include patient intake, assessment, suture/staple removal, post-op care, assisting with injections or small office procedures, diagnostic scheduling, EHR documentation, room turnover, and monitoring supplies. Position may travel to satellite clinics with a physician as needed. Must possess clinical certification/licensure; Medical Assistant or Athletic Trainer preferred. Full-time, Monday-Friday.

Position is based in Warsaw, but may cover other clinic locations as needed. Must possess clinical certification/licensure; Medical Assistant or Athletic Trainer preferred. Full-time, three weekdays per week, 7a to clinic close (typically 7:30p) with a rotating Saturday at the main office in Fort Wayne (every 9th week).
