Director of Clinical Services (RN)

We are seeking a clinical professional with strong leadership abilities to direct and develop clinical services within the Practice. Areas of responsibility include Nursing, Surgery Scheduling, Phone Triage and general clinical operations. Prior clinical experience combined with a minimum of three years leadership experience that has included a progressive increase in responsibilities is required. Must also be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana with completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

DME Fitter/Clinical Assistant (ATC, CMA, CCMA, RMA)

We have an opportunity available for an individual who enjoys working with patients one-on-one to measure and fit their needs for durable medical equipment (DME) and assist with clinical care. Duties include patient education on the use and care of DME products, assisting with DME inventory, patient intake, assessment, suture/staple removal, post-op care, assisting with injections or small office procedures, diagnostic scheduling, EHR documentation, room turnover, and monitoring clinical supplies. Many learning and growth avenues! Position will be based at our W. Jefferson office in Fort Wayne but may assist at satellite clinics as needed. Must be certified/licensed as a Medical Assistant or Athletic Trainer. Full-time, Mon-Fri, hours will be consistent with clinic activities.

Diagnostic Test Scheduler

Join our diagnostic scheduling team to assist patients in scheduling diagnostic exams ordered by their Provider. Position will interact with other medical facilities to determine available schedule options and obtain relevant screening information from patients prior to their testing or imaging. Strong communication talents are needed to ensure a smooth process and timely updates to patients. Previous clinical or medical office experience desired. Option to work a hybrid of onsite/remote once fully trained. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8a-5p.

Triage Nurse (Spine Team, Full-time or part-time)

Our Spine team (Dr. Rahn & Dr. Shugart) has an opportunity for a nurse to assist patients with inquiries regarding their medical care. This position may also obtain prior authorizations for testing & procedures and assist the Providers in the clinical office setting. Must be currently licensed as a RN or LPN in the State of Indiana and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Prior orthopedic experience beneficial. Full-time or part-time schedule available.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Dr. Shugart)

Dr. Shugart (fellowship-trained Spine specialist) has an opportunity for a full-time PA or NP to assist in supporting his established practice. This position will provide a combination of independent office/clinic care, support pre and post-operative care at the hospital, assist in the O.R. and assess inpatients during rounds. This opportunity is based in Fort Wayne. Schedule is primarily Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend rounding. Must be currently licensed or eligible to obtain licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Nurse) or Physician Assistant in the State of Indiana.

Clinical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, RMA, PTA, CPhT or ATC)

As a vital member of our patient care team our Clinical Assistants provide support to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in our clinical office setting. Duties include patient intake, assessment, suture/staple removal, post-op care, assisting with injections or small office procedures, diagnostic scheduling, EHR documentation, room turnover, and monitoring supplies. Many learning and growth opportunities! Based in Fort Wayne; may travel to satellite clinics with a physician as needed. Must possess clinical certification/licensure; Medical Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Tech or Athletic Trainer preferred. Available schedules; full-time Monday-Friday (typically 8a-5p) OR part-time 3 weekdays (typically 8a-5p) per week.
