The Stauffer Kimbrough Foundation

The mission of the Stauffer Kimbrough Foundation is to promote and facilitate scientific research in the field of orthopedics, support education, scholarships and community outreach. As a local nonprofit organization founded by the physicians of Fort Wayne Orthopedics, the Foundation is dedicated to:

  • Research that provides innovative solutions to problems related to the care and treatment of orthopedic cases.
  • Local, regional, national and international clinical presentations based on research findings and results.
  • Outreach services and programs with a worldwide perspective.
  • Furthering of the most current techniques and instrumentation available.
  • Education.
  • Community involvement.

The Stauffer Kimbrough Foundation is committed to education, research, community involvement and support of other related non-profit organizations. As a locally based Foundation, donors can expect contributions to assist our community and further the Foundation’s commitment to enhanced orthopedic care, while improving the lives of others as they benefit from our mission.

RICHARD C. STAUFFER, MD

Dr. Stauffer graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He served as president of the Fort Wayne Orthopedic Society and was a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Indiana Orthopedic Society, Fort Wayne Academy of Medicine and Surgery, Tri-State Orthopedic Society, Clinic Orthopedic Society, Inc. and the Orthopedic Letter Club.

ROBERT F. KIMBROUGH, MD

Dr. Kimbrough graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He served as president of the American Academy of Medicine and Surgery, the Indiana Orthopedic and Fort Wayne Orthopedic Societies. Dr. Kimbrough chaired the Rehabilitation Engineering Committee of Indiana-Purdue University, Fort Wayne. He also served as an instructor in the Fort Wayne Orthopedic Residency Program at Lutheran Hospital.
