Health Information Specialist

This opportunity is for a detailed individual to perform processes specific to patient records. Duties include scanning & indexing incoming documents, processing release of information (ROI) requests, completion of FMLA & disability forms, transferring completed dictations into the electronic health record, editing transcribed documents for accuracy and occasionally typing internal dictations. Experience with medical records and/or ROI requests preferred. Knowledge in medical terminology beneficial. Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Triage Nurse

Our Triage team has an opportunity for a full-time nurse with friendly phone skills to support our Providers by responding to patient inquiries regarding their medical care. This position will gather details about the patient’s situation, use clinical judgment skills to provide instruction and determine if the situation requires input from Clinical Leads & Coordinators for resolution. Must be currently licensed as a RN or LPN in the State of Indiana and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Mon-Fri. 8a-5p.

Reception Manager

We are looking for a leader who has a heart for patient service and staff development to manage front desk and appointment scheduling operations at all office locations. This position is responsible to ensure that a high standard of patient service is maintained at all times, coordinate workflows, address patient concerns related to registration, establish new processes and guide staff. Minimum two years of front desk, registration or patient scheduling experience in a medical practice in addition to prior management or supervisory experience desired. Bachelors degree in a business-related discipline preferred.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (OrthoStat)

We have an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide clinical care and outstanding customer service to office patients as part of our urgent care walk-in clinic (Orthostat) team. Full-time, typically 3 weekdays per week (clinic hours are 7a to 7p) plus a rotating Saturday (currently every 6th week). No call required. Position will assist in covering all Orthostat locations and will cross-train to provide backup for daytime trauma coverage in the hospital. Must be currently licensed as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Nurse) in the State of Indiana and possess strong communication skills. Previous orthopedic experience beneficial.

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Dr. Rahn)

Dr. Rahn (fellowship-trained Spine specialist) has an opportunity for a full-time PA or NP to assist in supporting his established practice. This position will provide a combination of independent office/clinic care, assist in the O.R. and assess inpatients during rounds. This opportunity is based in Fort Wayne and will also treat patients at Dr. Rahn’s satellite clinics in Rochester and Warsaw. Schedule is primarily Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend rounding. Must be currently licensed or eligible to obtain licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Nurse) or Physician Assistant in the State of Indiana.

Director of Information Technology

The Director will provide leadership and support for the Information Technology department in addition to coordinating multidisciplinary projects to implement technology solutions throughout the organization. This position ensures overall system integrity, serves as the primary liaison with I/T vendors and functions as the HIPAA Security Officer. Knowledge of electronic health record, practice management, PACS and other software common to a healthcare facility desired. Degree in computer science/related field required. Five years of progressively increasing responsibilities in I/T and experience in a healthcare, setting preferred. Ability to effectively communicate, problem-solve and understand workflows are essential. Full-time, occasional weekend or evening hours for special projects.

Clinical Lead for Dr. Arnold (CMA, CCMA, RMA or ATC)

We are searching for an individual with leadership qualities to provide patient care and support to Dr. Arnold (Hip & Knee surgeon) and his patients. This position will serve as a liaison between the Physician and clinical support departments to ensure patients’ needs are addressed in a timely manner. Duties include resolution of patient messages, clinical intake, assessment, suture/staple removal, post-op care, assisting with joint injections or small office procedures, scheduling, patient transport, room turnover, and monitoring supplies. Position is based at our W. Jefferson office and will accompany Dr. Arnold to his clinics at Dupont and Gas City. Will assist other Providers when Dr. Arnold is in surgery. Certification/licensure as a Medical Assistant or Athletic Trainer preferred. Full-time, Monday-Friday

Clinical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, RMA, PTA, CPhT or ATC)

As a vital member of our patient care team our Clinical Assistants provide support to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in our clinical office setting. Duties include patient intake, assessment, suture/staple removal, post-op care, assisting with injections or small office procedures, diagnostic scheduling, EHR documentation, room turnover, and monitoring supplies. Many learning and growth opportunities! Based in Fort Wayne; may travel to satellite clinics with a physician as needed. Must possess clinical certification/licensure; Medical Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Tech or Athletic Trainer preferred. Available schedules; full-time Monday-Friday (typically 8a-5p), full-time 3 days per week 7a-7p/clinic close with a rotating Saturday every six weeks OR part-time 3 weekdays (typically 8a-5p) per week.
