Dr. Fisher is a specialist in total joint replacement and reconstructive procedures of the upper and lower extremities. He received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine where he also completed his Residency in orthopaedic surgery in 1991. He subsequently performed a one-year Fellowship in joint implant surgery and adult reconstruction with Joint Implant Surgeons in Columbus, Ohio, in affiliation with Ohio State University. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery with Indiana University School of Medicine and continues to be active in residency training for the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program. Dr. Fisher has practiced with Fort Wayne Orthopaedics since 1992. In addition to his expertise in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, he has extensive experience in the use of minimally invasive techniques, including partial and total joint replacement and cartilage restoration.
